Reviewing Wild Wild Bass 3 did admittedly trigger a few dark thoughts along the lines of the overabundance of fish games, the lack of originality in much of them, and the desire for cashing in on the success competitors may have garnered by their own efforts. Mix that all together, and you've pretty much got something like Wild Wild Bass 3 on your hands. Apologies if this sounds a little on the acidic side, but ploughing through yet another bass game was hard going, what with the proliferation of fish slots and the fact Wild Wild Bass 3 is number 3 in the series. But it's got bits the other two did not have, so fans of the first two WWB games have something new to try.

Okay, not hugely new since the additional feature is a round of free spins with a growing win multiplier. The multiplier is applied at the end of the round, as we saw recently in Nine To Five, rather than on the spot when wins occur, which is a little bit outside the norm. It's not a bad feature, though, so there are no complaints over its inclusion. Shame winning potential has been left the same as before, though, as a win cap of 10,000x the bet is set in place in both the base game and free spins. Of course, sequels don't have to offer bigger wins, but they do come across a little on the strange side when they don't.

Some may not mind Wild Wild Bass 3 having the same figure on board if they prefer the look of the free spins rounds, as it's not a bad one. However, a new bonus round didn't do much to lighten the Sisyphean task of reviewing fishing slots. Then again, let's not moan too loudly.
