The wild only lands in the bonus positions above reels 2, 3, 4, or 5, and can substitute for any regular pay symbol. The paytable also informs players of a higher than usual RTP of 97.05% (with the bonus engaged), or 96.55% otherwise which is excellent at this day and age where we've seen the RTP slowly creep downwards. Blueprint Gaming don’t disappoint. Rick and Morty Megaways is a highly polished slot that spared no expense during production. The graphics and animations are top notch and capture the spirit of the original cartoon perfectly. In the hands of its creator, Megaways here runs as smoothly as it possibly gets.

On the bonus side, there is a good variety of features for players to experiment with and figure out a favourite. It’s a tough choice. Federation Free Spins work well when those full reel wild multipliers are boosting win ways. Vindicator Free Spins come into their own when several Special Symbols are working in tandem to hoover up the instant prizes, which is always fun. In short, it’s hard to pick a favourite. Whichever one you go for has its rewards that have been capped at 50,000 times the stake or $250,000 for a single session, so plenty to play for.

So Rick and Morty Megaways might not be the next stage in the slot evolution, but the fact that we are even thinking seriously along those lines shows what we have come to expect from Blueprint's line of Megaways releases. Overall, it’s hard to fault, the theme was an inspired choice, the math model’s finely tuned, and it has a bunch of superb features that players can choose from and excellent potential on top.
