Avalanche

Each win activates an Avalanche. All symbols in the winning combination pay out and are subsequently removed. For each winning combination, one of the disappearing symbols leaves behind a Coin symbol. Once the Coin has been placed, new symbols fall, creating another chance to win. Avalanches continue until no more winning combinations occur. Scatters and Coins do not activate Avalanches.

Multi Coins Feature

Coin symbols can land or be created and display bet multiplier cash values or multiplier values. They're able to land on any reel in the base game or in free spins. Having 5 or more Coins on the reels after an Avalanche sequence activates the Multi Coins feature. When activated, 4 to 8 Coins are randomly placed on the reels. The last Fantasma Games scatter pays slot, Shadow Summoner Elementals, was pretty out there doing things few to no others do while looking unique at the same time. Pirate Multi Coins pulls things closer to the mainstream, not only because it covers the maths with pirates but because its features are closer to the norm as well. Okay, let's say it, they're closer to Gates of Olympus. Not the same, no, but the mixture of scatter pays, Avalanches, and multipliers symbols is one that scatter paying enthusiasts should feel at ease with.

Within the general rules, Pirate Multi Coins does add moments of individuality. For one, the Coin symbols aren't just multipliers, but they can also instead be bet multiplier cash values, adding to the current spin's win before any multiplier symbol jumps in there to boost the total. Is this better, is it not, or is it simply a variation that gamblers keen on this form can tick off the list? Pirate Multi Coins felt closer to that last assessment. Pirate Multi Coins didn't have the same punch as Gates of Olympus, but it was nice to get a feature set variant. The Multi Coins feature and the Golden Chest feature didn't trigger very often in the base game, but theoretically, in free spins, the features have a greater chance of activating. The absence of a persistent total multiplier in the bonus round was felt, though.

In the end, Pirate Multi Coins was a fairly decent scatter pays slot to review. It didn't amaze in any way, nor did it annoy, but skirted between the two extremes, being a decent, if not remarkable, example of this style of online gambling.
