The studio has taken a break from aged temples and sand for a moment, though, for another push into the future. Transporting Ancient Egypt to the future might be more common than you think, with Thunderkick and Pragmatic Play being two studios which have also gotten in on the action via Pyramyth and Rise of Pyramids, respectively. The concept works well, and you can only help but wonder what the world would have been like if the Egyptian Dynasties had defeated the Romans to flourish for another few thousand years.

The world might have looked like the one in Ankh of Anubis Awakening; it's fun to pretend. Ankh of Anubis Awakening features had their moments of fun, as well. They're not as futuristic as the location they've been placed in, but they've somewhat revamped, where spreading wild respins and up to 8 wilds added to the reels can come in handy. Anubis Respins in the base game are interesting since they are triggered by wilds and scatters on non-winning ways. That may mean wilds aren't exactly in the most helpful positions to start with, though the ways system counterbalances this effect to a degree. You get Anubis Respins in the bonus round, as well, which, capped at 500 free spins, seems like a ludicrously large amount (though not as many as Ankh of Anubis' 'indefinite'). It'll be the future before so many spins play out. What's good in the bonus round is when 5 Ankhs are collected, wilds are randomly added to the grid, triggering Anubis Respins. It happened that 4 wilds were placed on the leftmost 4 reels, which ended up quite favourably.
